Best dispute resolution team according to FORBES
Recently, we have written quite a lot about rankings and directories that recognised our teams or individual arbitration leaders as there has been quite a lot going on in this respect – e.g. Markiyan Malskyy and Marek Jeżewski having both been ranked among the best arbitrators in Poland in the Chambers Global 2023 ranking, Marek Jeżewski being appointed Polish ambassador of the Vienna International Arbitral Centre, and on top of that, one of the few arbitrators from Central and Eastern Europe who were personally recognised in the Legal500 Arbitration Powerlist – CEE Region 2023.
So it comes as no surprise that in FORBES Poland’s Best Law Firms 2023 directory, our team has once again been recognised in the Commercial Dispute Resolution category.
Poland’s Best Law Firms 2023
Alongside Mark and Markiyan, our award-winning team includes:
- Specialists in international investment and commercial arbitration and experts in commercial litigation: Michał König, Magdalena Papiernik-König and Dominika Durchowska
- Mateusz Ostrowski, litigation counsel in the field of media and technology in the broadest sense of the term
- Andrzej Pałys and his team handling litigation for financial institutions
These people are not afraid of difficult and complex cases, often without precedent and conducted in international jurisdictions. That is why they win not only awards, but also recognition from the market, from both clients and colleagues.
This is clear as Poland’s Best Law Firms 2023 directory is compiled based on the recommendations of nearly 1500 in-house and law firm lawyers.
The ambition of the publisher of the ranking was to create a guide of Polish law firms that have developed competitive advantages in key specialisations and areas of operation.
This year, the list prepared by Forbes and Statista included 118 of such firms.
