Kochanski & Partners acts as legal counsel to working group on cloud computing implementation standard for banks of the Polish Bank Association
Kochanski & Partners is the exclusive legal partner of the working group on a standard for cloud computing implementation in banks, established by the Polish Bank Association (ZBP) and the Banking Technology Forum.
In mid-July, the first meeting of the group was held, which was attended by representatives of the largest banks in Poland and leading technology companies. The objective of the group is to promote the use of cloud computing technology in the Polish banking sector through the development of a cloud computing implementation standard based on the existing PolishAPI.
The working group will prepare a white-book to be published this autumn. The Kochański & Partners team of experts in banking law and new technologies, together with the Polish Bank Association, will develop standards for the implementation of cloud computing, taking into account the role of public trust institutions. In addition, the Kochański & Partners team will work on the development of internal audit tools for providers and a solution compliance roadmap, and will also monitor the proposed solutions/standards for compliance with Polish and EU legislation and bank recommendations.
We are extremely proud that our team is fostering such an important initiative combining banking technology and information security that will bring substantial benefits to banks, their customers and cloud providers – said Daniel Kozłowski, Advocate, Senior Associate of the Financial Services practice, the Coordinator of the Kochański & Partners team.
The project will be managed by Accenture and led by Grzegorz Pędzisz, CEO of Idea Bank.
