Witold gained experience working for leading Polish and international law firms where he provided comprehensive civil, commercial and copyright litigation services, including day-to-day compliance support for entrepreneurs.

Selected major projects:

Delivering day-to-day legal advice to a leading white goods, consumer electronics and e-commerce operator on a wide range of compliance, litigation and arbitration matters, as well as disputes before the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland;

Providing litigation support for an authors’ association – representation in copyright proceedings and related criminal proceedings for infringement of economic copyrights;

Authoring a draft cassation appeal which led to a reversal of the case-law of common courts and the Supreme Court with respect to the determination of the moment when damage occurs as a result of an enterprise being placed under state compulsory administration, and then taken over by the State Treasury;

Taking part in Poland’s first ever trial concerning infringement of personal interests of a judge by the Minister of Justice;

Conducting compensation proceedings against the National Police Headquarters and the Police Headquarters in Warsaw with the participation of the Commissioner for Human Rights and the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights monitoring the dispute;

Providing day-to-day advisory to an audiovisual and film producer;

Supervising and maintaining a customer database with respect to several hundred lease agreements for space in large-area facilities.

Education: Witold graduated from the University of Warsaw and completed the Center for American Law Studies programme at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw run in cooperation with the University of Florida.
