Computer games are now seen as a creative field within society which is tantamount to other categories of works, such as literature, music and film. Despite this, compute games are a separate type of works which is not mentioned as a separate category in the Act on Copyright and Related Rights and as such brings about a number of legal problems in respect to relations between creator-producer-participant. Computer Games Law is a newer field of law which is catered for at our law firm.
In cooperation with the Polish Association of Producers and Distributors of Entertainment Software (SPIDOR) we have established the Computer Games Academy.
