Jan is an Associate in the Disputes of Financial Institutions practice.

He specialises in litigation concerning claims arising out of agreements for credits and loans granted in foreign currencies, in particular in Swiss francs.

Jan represents banks in court and is involved in the development and implementation of their litigation strategies.

He also has experience in corporate disputes and assisting companies in bankruptcy and restructuring proceedings.

During his studies, Jan participated in many academic conferences. He was a speaker at the “Constitutional Week” organised by the Prof. Zbigniew Hołda Association. He is also the author of a publication entitled “Implementation of the Principle of Solidarity by the Court of Justice of the European Union: Analysis of Case Law on Indexed and Denominated Loans”.

Prior to joining Kochański & Partners, Jan gained professional experience in renowned law firms.
