Jan specialises in tax law, with a particular focus on indirect tax issues, such as VAT, customs and excise duties.

He represents clients in complex tax, fraud and customs proceedings, including cases involving international trade sanctions. He also supports clients with domestic and international tax compliance.

His practice also includes analysing and advising on the interface between tax law and modern technologies, in particular Blockchain and solutions based on the digitalisation of business processes.

He has authored or co-authored numerous publications, and has been a speaker at conferences and seminars in the area of financial law, both in the national and international arena.

Education: Faculty of Law and Administration at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun. Erasmus program at the Université de Versailles-Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines Université Paris-Saclay
