Jan’s main area of practice is tax law. He specialises in income taxes and the correlations between tax law and new technologies, in particular blockchain. On a day-to-day basis, he assists the tax team with providing comprehensive advice to entities in the IT and financial sectors.

Jan gained his professional experience at a Tricity law firm, where he worked on real estate investment projects, public-private partnerships and administrative proceedings.

Jan combines his daily work with academic pursuits, focusing on various aspects of financial law, in particular corporate taxation and the implementation of new technologies in various legal and economic sectors. He has also co-authored academic publications and actively participates in international and national academic conferences.

Education: Faculty of Law and Administration, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (Master of Law, 2023), Université de Versailles-Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines Université Paris-Saclay (Erasmus 2021). Scholarship of the Rector of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń for scientific achievements for the academic year 2020/2021. First prize in the national competition for the best commentary on tax law. Recognition at the 3rd National Scientific Conference – Copernican Digital Forum, for his speech: Tokenization of Shares Based on Blockchain – “Is Polish Commercial Law Ready for It?”
