Tomasz Szambelan

Tomasz specialises in intellectual property law. He advises on trademarks, industrial designs, utility models and patents, copyright law, agreements transferring intellectual property rights, licensing agreements, and matters involving unfair competition.
He represents clients in litigation concerning trademark infringement, oppositions to their registration and cancellation before common and administrative courts, the Polish Patent Office and the EUIPO.
He has experience in handling intellectual property infringements in the pharmaceutical, food and new technology industries. He supports clients in managing their trademark portfolios.
Tomasz also advises on intellectual property protection related matters during M&A transactions and conducts training courses focusing on the practical aspects of securing and commercialising IP rights.
Tomasz is qualified as an Internal Auditor for the ISO/IEC 27001:2017 Information Security Management System.
