Maciej has experience in new technology and financial markets law. On a day-to-day basis, he advises on the implementation of IT projects and the introduction of cloud services in financial sector companies. He also advises on the regulatory environment of cloud computing for the financial sector, having worked on the implementation of cloud services in the largest banks and insurance companies in Poland. In these projects he prepared internal documentation, notifications and participated in negotiating contracts with cloud providers. Maciej has also participated in the work on Polish Cloud 2.0 – the standard for implementing a public or hybrid cloud service for the Polish Bank Association and on the Cloud Service Implementation Model for the Chamber of Fund and Asset Managers.

Maciej also advises on compliance and cybersecurity issues and has participated in audits of compliance with the DORA Regulation, ISO standards (27001 and 27017), the National Cybersecurity System Act (UKSC) and Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) recommendations. He is also an Information Security Management System Internal Auditor.

Maciej is also involved in transactional projects where he assists clients in negotiating loan agreements and security documents.

Education: The Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin (Master of Law, 2019).
