It’s with great pleasure to advise that Kochanski Zieba & Partners (Kochanski & Partners) has won the award of Poland Tax Firm of the Year at the International Tax Review’s European Tax Awards 2017.
International Tax Review is the leading monthly publication with respect to domestic and cross-border tax issues and is widely read by tax professionals in industry, government, private practice and research. Kochanski & Partners was also shortlisted for Poland Transfer Pricing Firm of the Year.
We are elated at having been awarded Poland Tax Firm of the Year. Moreover, we were competing with Big Four firms which focus on tax advice as their core service, whilst we as a law firm provide tax advice as a complementary service to our other strong legal practice areas.
It’s also a testament to the fantastic team. Although as a team of ten which are dedicated to tax we are not of the size of our competitors, being awarded Poland Tax Firm of the Year demonstrates our capacity to work on both smaller local tax matters and the very largest cross-border and international transactions.
Winning this award is further recognition of our client-facing innovative change in strategy which was introduced just under two years ago. Since then we have been short-listed twice in a row in the European Lawyer Awards for Law Firm of the Year Central Europe (2016, 2017), been ranked as the only Polish law firm in the Financial Times Innovative Lawyers ranking (2016), placed 1st by the Warsaw Business Journal in its Book of Lists ranking of Polish law firms (2016/2017) and now have been awarded Poland Tax Firm of the Year (2017).
