We have been shortlisted for The Legal 500 CEE Awards 2025 for our energy projects

Energy transition is one of Poland’s top priorities, and an obligation to ensure security, independence and sustainable development for future generations. However, the transition away from fossil fuels, coupled with rising energy demand and the need to protect the climate, creates a complex puzzle in which every piece must fit perfectly.

This is why there is no room for people who merely react to change. This process requires active, committed individuals who are vigilant and well prepared to lead Poland into a new era of energy.

We have such people. That is why we are on the shortlist for The Legal 500 Central and Eastern Europe Awards 2025 in a category that is important to us: Energy Firm of the Year.

We are helping to shape the legal framework for tomorrow’s technologies

This year, the ranking’s authors focused on excellence, precision, innovation, commitment, perseverance and passion in the projects of the best legal teams in Central and Eastern Europe.

Therefore, we can expect the competition to be very close. However, we are well placed among this group. We always strive to stay one step ahead of the market, engage in pioneering projects, and effectively combine legal expertise with a deep understanding of technology and business.

This brings us tangible results. And nominations in the most prestigious rankings, such as The Legal 500 CEE Awards.

Pioneers of the atomic age

When the decision was finally made to build Poland’s first nuclear power plant, we recognised the project’s strategic importance to our country’s security.

We have therefore been involved in this project from the outset, providing advice on the most complex issues, including responsibility for the process, technical aspects and compliance with EU regulations. We are therefore right at the heart of the development of Polish nuclear energy.

Architects of the hydrogen economy law

Green hydrogen is the fuel of the future, but its implementation requires the creation of an entire complex ecosystem from scratch. We are leaders in this process. Not only did we advise on the first pioneering hydrogen projects, but we also actively worked with the government administration to draft legislation enabling the development of this sector in Poland.

Leaders in the capacity and energy storage markets

Ensuring the stability of the energy system is absolutely essential. We are well aware of this, having co-authored the regulations governing the Polish capacity market. This gives us unique expertise, enabling our clients to not only meet regulatory requirements, but also take advantage of new business opportunities. We were also among the first teams in Poland to provide comprehensive support for the implementation of energy storage facilities, which are now an essential component of any modern grid.

Innovators in RES and InfraTech

We believe that technology is the key to a sustainable future. That is why we develop innovative IT solutions to help our clients in the renewable energy sector manage their energy more effectively. We promote the concept of InfraTech by combining infrastructure expertise with the latest technological solutions.

Energy Firm of the Year – The Legal 500 Central and Eastern Europe Awards 2025

This nomination is, of course, a great honour. Above all, however, it proves that we are heading in the right direction. We do not just see ourselves as lawyers. We are partners with businesses and the state in the complex process of today’s energy transition. We are involved in projects that would have seemed impossible just a few years ago, such as Poland’s first nuclear power plant, new-generation battery factories, and developing a domestic hydrogen market. It is a privilege, but also a great responsibility, says Łukasz Młynarkiewicz.

The recognition from The Legal 500 CEE Awards is thanks to the entire team. It is a testament to the efforts of both the current team and all the talented specialists who were here before us and contributed to today’s success, proving that boundaries are there to be crossed, adds the Head of the Nuclear Energy Practice and the Infrastructure, Energy, Environment and ESG Practice Group.

The final results will be announced in October. You can view the shortlist here.
