We are part of the Cykl Kariery Kulczyk Foundation community

We have joined the Kulczyk Foundation’s nationwide Cykl Kariery (Career Cycle) programme – an initiative designed for employers who recognize that the health and wellbeing of their employees are vital components of a mature organisational culture.

In doing so, we join the ranks of companies such as Avon, BNP Paribas, CD Projekt Red and Polenergia – organisations committed to building a more aware working environment. They are mindful of the stages their employees go through, including the more demanding ones such as the menopausal transition or andropause. They understand the role of biological cycles and provide a safe space in which to address them, support colleagues in their roles as parents of adolescent children, and promote effective strategies for managing stress and preventing burnout.

A healthy workplace sees the whole person

The programme’s creators set out to raise awareness of gender-specific needs and to foster workplaces that recognise and address those needs.

In Poland, three million women aged 40–55 are in employment, accounting for 20% of the country’s entire workforce. The average age of a working woman is 42, and nearly half of these women experience six or more debilitating symptoms of the menopausal transition simultaneously (Kulczyk Foundation data):

  • 41% of women report stress related to the impact of menopausal symptoms on their work
  • 42% of women have considered reducing or ending their professional activity due to menopause-related symptoms

Conversations with men also yield interesting findings:

  • 68% of men over the age of 50 report having less energy for work

Why did we join the Cykl Kariery programme?

Because we are building a culture in which every perspective matters – those of women and men, recent graduates gaining their first professional experience, and seasoned professionals who mentor their younger colleagues. A culture where everyone can find their place and fulfil their unique potential.

Employees go through different stages of their professional lives – a full career cycle brings with it distinct challenges, needs and expectations. At some points, ambition and rapid development take centre stage; at others, there is a greater need for stability, attention to health, emotional balance or consideration of family circumstances. A responsible employer should recognise these stages, understand their dynamics and respond to them appropriately, says Diana Tavera, Head of the ESG Committee at Kochański & Partners.

That is why we joined the Cykl Kariery project. Because this programme embodies values that have long been part of our organisation.

Taking part in this initiative means, above all, gaining access to reliable knowledge, educational materials, proven tools and expert-led webinars – resources that help foster open, honest conversations about employee health, without taboo or euphemism.

It also sends a clear message to the entire team: your needs matter to us. At every stage of your life.
