Sugar tax and miniature alcoholic beverage levy

From 1 January 2021, new levies, i.e. the so-called “sugar tax” and “miniature alcoholic beverage levy”, will enter into force in Poland. The new levies were to apply from 1 July 2020, but the legislative process was delayed due to the COVID-19 epidemic. Ultimately, the Act will enter into force from 1 January 2021.
