JPK_VAT – new obligations to come into force shortly

Taxpayers will be required to submit the new JPK_VAT (SAF for VAT) for as early as October 2020, i.e. by 25 November 2020.

The new JPK_V7 file will be an electronic document comprising:

  • a VAT return section replacing the existing VAT-7 and VAT-7K return forms;
  • a VAT register section replacing the existing JP VAT file.

This means that, in order to comply with VAT settlement obligations, taxpayers will not need to, as before, submit two documents: a JPK file and a VAT return, but a single file containing data from the return and VAT register, respectively.

How can we assist you?

  • We can support you in the implementation of appropriate tools.
  • We can prepare procedures for and help you identify GTU group codes.
  • We can answer your questions about your obligations regarding the new JPK_V7K and JPK_V7M.
