Sylwia Makuch

Sylwia specialises in advising the banking sector. She represents financial institutions in disputes concerning foreign currency loans, both at the pre-trial and trial stages, as well as in negotiations and mediations. She develops litigation strategies, looking after the interests of banks at every stage of the proceedings.

She also handles civil law disputes, with a particular emphasis on the protection of personal rights and press law. She advises publishers, editors and journalists on the defence of freedom of expression, representing them in proceedings for corrections and damages in relation to press publications.

Her experience also includes advising local authorities and housing cooperatives.

In her professional work, she combines proficiency in civil procedure with substantive analysis of legal risks in complex organisational structures.
