Piotr Cąkała

Piotr is an Associate in the Mergers & Acquisitions practice.
He specializes in M&A transactions and corporate law and has experience in debt financing and financial regulation. He assists clients in anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT), application of economic sanctions, legal audits of financial institutions and proceedings before the Financial Supervision Authority (KNF).
Piotr has participated in due diligence investigations, negotiation and drafting of transaction documentation and has advised clients on asset deals and share deals.
His areas of interest include capital markets, FinTech, cryptoassets and central bank digital currencies (CBDCs).
Prior to joining Kochański & Partners, Piotr gained professional experience in renowned law firms in Warsaw.
