Michał specializes in administrative law with a particular focus on energy law. He has worked for the Energy Regulatory Office in the Legal and Dispute Resolution Department, and for PGE Energia Ciepła S.A. (the largest Polish cogeneration company), where he was involved in projects related to the capacity market and regulations concerning electricity generation in cogeneration. He is an Alumnus of the 8th Edition of the Energy Academy organised by the Lesław A. Paga Foundation.
Michał graduated with honours from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw. He was awarded the Scholarship of the Minister of Science and Higher Education for outstanding scientific achievements and the Chancellor’s Scholarship for the Best Students. In the Law Clinic at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw, Michał provided pro bono legal assistance to people in need. He was among the winners in the 4th and 5th Editions of the National Moot Court of Commercial Arbitration organized by ELSA Warsaw and in the 2nd edition of the UW MOOT National Tournament – an arbitration competition organized by the Student Government of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw and the Arbitration Court at the Polish Chamber of Commerce. Michał is also a member of the Academic Energy Association at the Warsaw School of Economics.
