Mateusz Dominik

Mateusz specialises in new technology law with an emphasis on artificial intelligence and cloud computing, the legal aspects of cybersecurity, financial sector regulations concerning the use of technology (FinTech), and personal data protection.

He brings together an understanding of digital processes and tools with law, enabling him to translate complex technological solutions into secure contractual and operational frameworks.

He supports businesses in building digital resilience and implementing EU regulatory requirements, with a particular focus on the DORA Regulation, the NIS2 Directive, the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and the Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act).

Mateusz advises on strategic implementation and integration projects, as well as technology transactions. He develops and negotiates contracts relating to software, cloud services, licensing and the transfer of intellectual property. He conducts compliance audits, provides support in incident management and represents clients in proceedings before regulatory authorities, including before the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), and the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF).

His clients include financial institutions and companies from the IT and critical infrastructure sectors.

Lecturer on the postgraduate course ‘Law in the New Technologies Business’ at Łazarski University and seminars organised by the Wroclaw Bar Association. Speaker at numerous industry conferences.
