IBA 2024 in Mexico: new perspectives in the legal world

This year’s International Bar Association conference in Mexico was unique. Not only because of the tropical location where it was held, but especially because of the topics that heated up the discussions and the participants.

Five intensive days bursting with ideas, meetings, panel discussions, networking and experiences exchanged with the best lawyers from all over the world went by, as usual, a little too quickly. However, we have something to reminisce about and we know exactly what the whole industry will be talking about in the coming months.

Technology will be the driving force of change, and not only in law firms

Artificial intelligence and the automation of legal processes are no longer a distant future, and law firms that successfully implement innovative technological solutions will gain a significant competitive advantage. We are aware of this, which is why we are building on our foundation established with Iraaport, our cutting-edge tool that enables us to provide even more efficient services to our clients.

ESG – the new standard in business

Social and environmental responsibility is becoming an integral part of business strategies, and entrepreneurs who are held to the highest standards expect the same from the law firms that work with them.  This is why we not only advise on ESG, but are also ourselves developing intensively in this area. And by doing so, together with our clients, we are successfully changing the world for the better.

The power of diversity

We know from our own experience that building teams with diverse skills and experiences is the key to innovation. And not only in the field in which we work. That is why we see diversity as an added value, a source of creativity and a better understanding of the different needs of communities.

Dynamics of international law

Poland, Europe and the world are facing challenges that require new solutions and regulations. New geopolitical conditions, climate change, technological challenges… Lawyers need to adapt quickly and build new competitive advantages based on new skills, in order to manage risks more effectively and deliver real, measurable value to their clients.

Summary

The IBA conference in Mexico not only strengthened our international business relationships, but also significantly broadened our horizons and knowledge of what is currently happening in the legal industry.

We are ready for what tomorrow will bring. For more technological innovations that will certainly change the way we work. For changes in the law that we must first prepare ourselves for and then introduce to our clients. And for the challenges that lie ahead. One thing will certainly not change. Our vision of a modern law firm that combines a high degree of professionalism with flexibility and openness to whatever the future may bring.
