Family Foundation – new horizons for family assets

Date: October 16

Time: 17:30-20:30

Place: Hotel Stary, Krakow

EN Baner Na Www Pekao

The regulations on family foundations have been in force for almost two and a half years. Interest in this form of securing and accumulating of assets has exceeded the wildest expectations of its creators. Today, there are over 2,200 such entities operating in Poland, and this number is continuing to grow.

What makes family foundations such a popular choice among Polish entrepreneurs? What are their advantages and disadvantages? Who really benefits from this solution and are there other, equally advantageous ways of securing company assets?

And, most importantly, what risks, especially tax risks, should be taken into account when considering setting up a family foundation?

Family Foundations are both an effective tool for managing family capital, and an extremely attractive tax structure that allows CIT payments to be deferred until the money is paid out to beneficiaries, which is a huge advantage. However, this benefit is subject to many conditions.

We’ll answer these and other questions on October 16, during a meeting devoted to family foundations and their functioning to date.

We’ll also look at the practical aspects of the process of establishing and organizing family foundations and clarify any doubts that have arisen in the context of the current regulations, presenting specific examples and the current state of tax law in this area.

I invite you to join us.
