Emilia Hejnar

Emilia specialises in new technology and intellectual property law. She advises on information security and data protection issues.
She is a member of the team preparing financial entities to meet the requirements of the operational digital resilience. She deals with the negotiation and review of IT contracts.
Her professional interests include copyright law and the regulation of digital innovation.
Emilia has been a speaker at international conferences, such as the „Principles of civil procedure in a comparative law perspective” in Macedonia, and the „Adversarial principle and inquisitorial principle – a comparative perspective” in Romania.
During her studies, she served as president of the Civil Procedure Academic Association of the Jagiellonian University’s Law Students’ Library, and was a member of the Jagiellonian University Civil Law Academic Association. In addition, she completed an internship at the Jagiellonian University Student Legal Clinic in the civil law section, where she provided pro bono assistance.

Education: Faculty of Law and Administration at the Jagiellonian University, with distinction. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Intellectual Property and New Media Law at the Jagiellonian University.
Awards: Multiple holder of the Jagiellonian University Rector’s scholarship for best students. Winner of the scholarship competition for the best students of the Jagiellonian University
