Cooperation with Japanese companies in Ukraine and Poland during and after the war
Ukraine’s post-war reconstruction could cost up to USD 750 billion. Sources of funding will be sought by the Ukrainians internationally, from their own resources, private funds and frozen Russian assets.
What will be the strategic directions of this reconstruction?
- Energy
- Infrastructure
- Transport
- Logistics
- Processing
- Oil refining
- Construction materials.
Even now we are seeing a steadily increasing number of investments, either through establishing businesses or through financing and engaging existing production capacity in Ukraine.
Over the coming years, Ukraine will be one huge construction zone, absorbing and generating innovations and new technologies, and a significant geopolitical player.
How to position ourselves strategically in this new reality? This is what has been discussed today, with the participation of Mr Akio Miyajima, the Japanese Ambassador to Poland, and Mr Yasuyuki Ishiga, General Director of JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization), by representatives of Polish, Japanese and Ukrainian business and our experts Jacek Kozikowski, Markiyan Malskyy and Wojciech Wrochna.
