Anna Szepietowska, PhD

Her educational background and interests focus on interdisciplinary brand management in the premium segment, including management using legal and other brand protection tools.

Anna is a Doctor of Law specialising in European Union Law. She graduated with honours from the Faculty of Law at the University of Warsaw and received a scholarship to the University of Lisbon in her final year. Anna also graduated from the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw with a diploma in Project Management and also from the SGH Warsaw School of Economics where she received a diploma in Luxury Product and Brand Management.

Anna has many years of experience as a practising real estate lawyer in her role as General Counsel of Sotheby’s International Realty, the world’s largest broker of luxury real estate for clients of Sotheby’s auction house, the oldest company listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Anna was responsible for launching the brand on the Polish market. She was also a member of the editorial team that created the Luxury Realty Maps. Her professional successes as General Counsel earned her a recognition in the prestigious The Legal 500 GC Powerlist CEE.

Prior to joining Kochański & Partners, Anna headed the Business Development department of another renowned law firm operating in the CEE region, and was responsible for brand positioning and management, PR, communication and promotion of a team of several dozen lawyers and tax advisors.
