KZR&P work has a strong sector focus, drawing on the firm’s acknowledged strengths in sectors such as financial services, communications, e-commerce, IT, media, life sciences and energy (in particular renewable energy resources). Where relevant, we also work closely with specialists in other relevant disciplines such as IP, EU/competition law, state aid, planning and environmental and public procurement.

In particular we offer:

• assistance in preparation for regulatory changes, management of the relationships with regulators and, where possible, achievement of regulatory change or clarification;
• advice on licensing issues and on business strategy in the light of regulatory requirements and the approaches of regulatory authorities;
• representation of clients as defendants, complainants or interveners in regulatory and competition regulatory investigations by the authorities; and
• advice on both contentious and non-contentious issues including authorisation/licensing proceedings, market entry, pricing policy, product regulation and authorisation and new product design.
