Your trademark on the Internet

Karolina Marciniszyn (Patent Attorney, Partner) has been invited to deliver a lecture on "Your trademark on the Internet" during the workshop concerning "Intellectual Property in business practice" which will take place on 14-15th September, 2011 at Marriott Hotel in Warsaw.

During the speech, Karolina Marciniszyn will raise the following issues:

• Possible infringements of trademarks caused by registering Internet domains (cybersquatting, Typosquatting) and methods of their investigation
• Novelties in domains proceedings before NASK (Research and Academic Computer Network) – provisions of NASK Regulations on the list of abusive clauses of the so-called ‘Keyword advertising’ legal classification by using someone else's trademarks
• Opportunities and risks associated with the development of cyberspace, i.e. the introduction of new gTLDs, ccTLDs, IDNs as well as "xxx" domain
