Let's meet during IPO Annual Meeting!

On 11th-13th of September 2011, Ms Katarzyna Zbierska, Senior Associate at Kochański, Zięba, Rąpała and Partners took part in Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO) Annual Meeting in Los Angeles. The Los Angeles IPO Annual Meeting offers a mix of educational programs, committee meetings, networking opportunities, exhibits, and guest activities. The initiative aims at an overview of significant recent decisions affecting patent law and practice, and updates in trademark & copyright law.

One of the sessions introduces the aspects of cloud computing, which becomes increasingly common, and specific IP issues that develop in the “cloud.” Guests  discussed the 21st century issues and developments relating to the enforcement and protection of companies’ trademark portfolio, ethics in trademark and patent practice and also recent developments in patent offices around the world.
