Breakfast at the German-Polish Chamber of Commerce: The Internet – Possibilities, Challenges and Threats

We are delighted to announce that Mrs. Anna Szymanska (legal advisor and partner) hosted a “themed breakfast” on 14 September 2010 organised by the German-Polish Chamber of Commerce entitled: The Internet – Possibilities, Challenges and Threats The breakfast covered matters of use of internet content by end users and business professionals. Mrs Szymanska discussed the following :

-    Legal methods of content usage in internet considering latest provisions and ETS adjudications

-    Content usage in terms of statutory license without the need to acquire the right owner’s permission

-    The range of responsibilities of internet and internet content providers for content presentation

-    Creative Commons, Open Music, Open Art, open license work usage and open software  usage

-    Legit ways of content marking through linking, internal user website deep links usage, framing and others

The breakfast was developed with management and marketing department representatives of German-Polish Chamber of Commerce associated companies in mind.
