Work Departments: Competition and Antitrust.

Position: Partner. Dr Będkowski-Kozioł is head of the Firm's Competition and Antitrust Department. He specializes in competition law, including anti-competitive agreements, abuse of dominant position, merger control and state aid law, as well as regulation of network-bound sectors, particularly energy law including the mutual relationship between antitrust and regulatory supervision. In previous years, he also lectured on constitutional, administrative and economic law (visiting fellow/Gastdozent) at the Law Faculty of the Technische Universität Dresden, acted as a speaker at national and international scientific conferences and conducted trainings for entrepreneurs (including competition law). Dr Będkowski-Kozioł is the laureate of prestigious awards, including among others from the Technische Universität Dresden and Commerzbank for his thesis entitled “Die Liberalisierung und Deregulierung der polnischen Energiewirtschaft in Hinsicht auf den Beitritt Polens in die Europäische Union”, the award of the Rector of Technische Universität Dresden for his PhD dissertation entitled “Wettbewerb und Regulierung in der polnischen Energiewirtschaft” and closing his PhD program summa cum laude. He is also the author of a number of domestic and international publications, author or co-author of commentaries and monographic elaborations and articles in professional scientific press.
